The Duncan and Mayco products mentioned are underglazes.

Hi Kim,
I should have been more specific---I was referring to underglazes being
airbrushed onto glass. Has anyone tried this? If so, to what temperature?
Thanks for the information, Kim.

Hello all,

Fate has smiled upon us once again and, as the result of knowing someone who
knows someone who frequents auctions, estate sales and the like, my wife and
I are the proud new owners of a Paasche Model VLS airbrush. Now we need to
learn how to use it.

I looked in the Clayart archives and didn't see any topics that seemed to
address "Learning How to Airbrush Ceramic Glazes" (lots of spray stuff,
though). So could anyone out there recommend good books/videos that we can
learn from? I would particularly like to hear about references that
specifically discuss airbrush application of glazes (as opposed to
airbrushing in general) since I can't help but believe that the flow of
suspended solids through the airbrush behaves differently than those nice,
transparent colors that the commercial airbrush artists use.

Thanks to all,

Bruce "always looking for a new way to make a mess" Girrell
