That famous company, Duncan, up until a couple of years ago offered a glaze
line called High Fire Art Glazes for ^6 firing. They came in 4 oz. jars and
were quite attractive. They had marvelously colored crystaline glaze
qualities with names like Electric Blue, Arctic Ice, Mint Julep, et al, but
were nontoxic and dinnerware safe. The few pieces that I used these glazes on
sold quickly, and I still have some folks asking for items with these glazes.
Unfortunately, Duncan discontinued these glazes a couple of years ago.

Does anyone know of any way to duplicate those glaze recipes or any way --
short of my using a mass photo spectrometer (... mine's in the shop....;-) to
figure out their ingredients? I do still have a few jars of the stuff but am
hesitant to use them up.

If all else fails, you may wish to inquire about whether or not those
formulas were sold to another company to manufacture. Another possibility if
you are in GREAT need of them. Alot of times I have seen companies sell
their formula for a discontinued product with all the rights to it.. This
may be more of a undertaking than you wish to take, but if It were me and my
finished ware was on the line... I would do my best to obtain it. After
all, I did try to make a bid on Provincial's Studio Stain Acrylics rights.
but like most people .. a slight lack of capital at that moment hindered me
=-)
If these are still possibly popular you could even manufacture for resale..
or have someone do it for you...

Bob is Fortunate, 10 Miles from a Slip, Clay, glaze, etc manufacturer.
