DRAWING WITH THE WHOLE BRAIN

a weekly listserv for artists, teachers, and students

this will explore methods of drawing each week that emphasize the use of
the
whole brain in the teaching of drawing.

It will be an exchange of ideas and IMAGES and based on a new book "
Drawing
with the Whole brain" which will be ready b y spring 1999.

This listserv will be designed to explore methods of drawing each week
that
emphasize the use of the whole brain. It will employ some of the ideas
from
Drawing ion the right side of the Brain and Drawing on the artist within
but
will consider the whole brain. Based in part on the ideas of Arthur Wigan
Duality of Mind and J. Liberty Tadd, new Ways of Education.

A book on this topic well be ready by spring 1999 and the e-mail lessons
used on this listserv will be included as well as the experiences of
various members on the listserv .

it is hope that this could be useful for teachers in schools to focus on
the
critical issues dealing with the neurological foundations of drawing and
of
the arts.
