Does anyone else go to the OCCC Pottery Show in Demarest, N.J in
December? It's a first rate show. Nothing but great pots.
We go to the Friday evening opening, stay in Paramus Friday night, take
a bus into New York City on Saturday morning, take a bus back to Paramus
Saturday evening, and drive home (to Maryland) on Saturday night. This
makes for a very long Saturday. If one doesn't want to drive into or
stay in NYC (where do you park a full-size pickup truck?), this is a
logistically tricky trip.
Can anyone recommend an easier way to pull this off? Is there a decent
and affordable place to stay in N.J. that's closer to Manhattan than
Paramus? Would a ferry be better than taking a bus? Any and all
suggestions are welcome.
