The Hand Workshop Art Center Craft & Design Show is the weekend of November
14th and 15th. It's held at the Richmond Center and is one of the finest shows
I have ever attended. I look forward to it each year.
The Hand Workshop Art Center is also hosting a show of ceramic art at the
Center's West Main Street location, from November 6 through January 31. The
newspaper article I read mentioned the work of some very well-known
artists...names that I have heard often mentioned on ClayArt! It sounds
great. Sorry, I'm drawing a blank on the names of the collectors.
If anyone needs directions, email me.

My posting on the Hand Workshop Art Center Craft & Design Show did not
make the ClayArt list.

However, I did see the "A Fire For Ceramics" Show at the Center itself.
Fabulous! I am looking forward to touring it again next week with my
pottery instructor, David Camden. He is also a ClayArter, except for
this week, because of his preparation for this weekend's show. I had the
pleasure of watching him throw and glaze a couple pieces. He makes
absolutely beautiful Raku. So, if you get to the show, stop by and tell
him, Jan from Clayart sent ya'! (Kissing up to the Teacher!) :-)
