albany slip swap

Hello everyone who did Albany slip before suburbs swallowed it!

I've got some old Albany slip that I got with a lot of miscellaneous
chemicals. It's vintage 1973 or so (at least that was the date on an Anhowe
Ceramic Supply invoice for some of the other stuff in the lot). There is
about ten pounds mas o menos -- not enough for me to learn how to use it
even if I was firing hot enough. And even then, I'd have used it up just
when I got results!

If you are (or were) an Albany Slipmeister(in) and have some proven recipes
you'd like to use this batch in, here's a deal:

Part 1: send me shipping $ and I'll send it to you.

Part 2: If it works like it should, send me something glazed with it that
will make me gnash my teeth about not trying it myself!

Jeff, who spends a lot of time not finding things he's looking for, finding
instead things like this darn Albany Slip over and over again.

You probably already have the ingredients for this one:

Denise's Sexy Black, ^10R
(By volume)
Albany Slip 100
Cobalt Oxide 3

Can be brushed, sprayed, dipped, whatever.
Comes out a *marvellous* glossy metallic black

Try it & have fun!
