alpine kiln repair needed

updated sun 1 nov 98

I'm working at an art center in Columbia, Maryland which depends heavily on an
Alpine kiln for reduction firing. A section of the arch has shifted (down of
course) and repairs are necessary. This kiln is at least 25 years old and I
don't have specifics on size, type, model number, etc., although these I can
get. I'd like to find a repair source in the Maryland area, and/or get in
touch with Alpine to ask for help. Any leads are welcome.

Thanks, Winnie

I just went through that, and ended up buying a new Bailey downdraft
because of
the fuel savings. Doing the 3rd glaze fire tomorrow! Downdraft is quite
different. I did love that old Alpine! But, I'm learning to like this one,
too! Good luck.
