bourry box kiln plans

I am planning to build a bourry box kiln and am searching for plans. I searched
the archives back to June 1998 and found no detail plans.

I have Jack Troy's book and would like to build Robert Sanderson's bourry box
kiln. I also have the book Kiln Building by Ian Gregory which has diagrams of
the same kiln. The diagrams in these books do not have enough detailed
information.

Does anyone have plans or can direct me on where to find plans for this kiln or
a similar kiln?

Thanks,

i have a plan for a very nice two chambered kiln. i believe the
plans are published in Nils Lou's new book. We have fired it many
times to cone 12-14 with great success. If you are looking for a
kiln in the100 ft range maybe I can help. We have used sawdust to
fire this kiln but it will do fine just stoking.

Lori -
If you can get a copy of CM June/July/August 1996 you will find an article
written by David Swanson about Graham Sheehan. Graham built and fires the
greatest little Boury box kiln ever.

I am building one like it in February 1999.

Good Luck!!!
