I'll add a couple of things to the warping bowl string. When inverting a =
leather
hard bowl it's easy to put too much pressure on each side as you flip it.
Putting
a bat on the top of the bowl after cutting it loose and flipping the whole =
bowl
sandwitch before releasing it with a quick twist is a sure cure.
If I have to make bowls without a bat I seal the top with a sheet of paper
before
lifting. Gently lay any kind of smooth paper on the finished bowl and seal =
by
letting
your finger ride on the rim. The air trapped inside makes the bowl it very
rigid. Don't remove the paper until the bowl is leather hard.
