Clayarters,

I got the following message from Brent Foon for someone on ClayArt:
-------------------forward-------------------------------
hello from Brent Foon, could you please send a message to Clayart to
someone whose cats have died from liver problems and members of their
family are also being affected, with some sort of brief outline on studio
hygienics and studio glaze chemical toxicity. This is just in case they did
not get my message to contact you. I am new to this e-mail stuff and I
accidentally deleted their name and address . Thanking you in advance.
------------------------------------------------------------

If this person contacts me with a snail mail address, I'll be glad to send
them a list of ceramic studio precautions from "Keeping Claywork Safe and
Legal" or any other help you might need.

--------------------forward-----------------------------------
[Regarding] my quest for a "safe" glaze , it exists in Parmelee's book,
page 548, no.5, low temp. you have to replace the bao, zno. I used mgo,
sro, and 1.4 b2o3. [Ceramic glazes---Parmelee--Harman]. If anyone wants to
make it let me know happy to help.
yours in pottery---Brent typing from a friend's terminal.
