Hello Clayartists,
HELP!
I am ready to purchase a kiln. I am looking at the Skutt 1027 and
L&L JD230. My technical person (my non potter but electronics genius
husband) feels the L&L is constructed better.
He feels the L&L kiln has features that are better than the Skutt
e.g. the element holders, the ability to fire manually or computer controlled,
and the 3 independent thermocouples (one for each section).

Could you please share your experience with me.

In the near future I will be purchasing a larger kiln. I do custom tile =
work for large scale murals and architectural installations. I also do =
sculptural works as well. I'm wanting to upgrade to a larger and front =
loading kiln. I'm thinking about 20 cu ft, or 36 to 45 inches interior =
dimension. Firing to cone 6. I'm wondering which models folks have found =
most reliable, best value, etc.
