I've recently moved to Pasadena, CA, and am wondering what types of
ceramic groups or guilds might exist in the area. I'm looking for a
place to fire my pots and meet new people.

Thanks

Mark, You might want to look up Virginia Cartwright (should be in the
phone book). She will have information on all clay activities in the
Pasadena area.
Dorothy in Dallas where we have had rain for a week! It smells good,
tastes good and is glorious.

Hi Mark:

You asked about contacts in Pasadena and environs. Bill Amsterlaw gave
you good advice. Hook up with the Souther Design Chapter of the
American Ceramic Society and visit Clayhouse in Santa Monica. Also,
Phil Cornelius teaches at Pasadena City College and there is a fine
ceramic program at Scripp - Part of Clairmont Colleges. And, if you
travel north, don't forget Otto Heino in Ojai Valley. Call first. (805)
646-3393.
