I guess it is time to join in the discussion since I am one of the owners
of Contact. It is very interesting to see comments about the magazine which
deal with the same issues which we have grappled with.Too much
wood,Canadian perspective,too expensive etc. etc.and I appreciate the
comments.It is very helpful.

Now at the risk of offending some of you I must say that I find it
incredible that people only want to read about what they do and from the
country in which they reside.OPEN UP YOUR MIND.I read magazines from
Spain,Great Britain,U.S.,Greece,Japan,Australia;whatever I can get to
LEARN.I know that even if a magazine says"international" it will be mostly
about work and artists from the host country.Thats why I read it.
Oh Oh!Pissed off another subscriber!Barb is going to kill me.

Not only did I thoroughly enjoy this latest issue of Contact,
I thoroughly enjoyed you reposte. I think most read
and enjoy/learn from magazines in addition to those
published in our own countries. And so we should. Sort of
like clayart - wouldn't be nearly so interesting if it were
limited to one nation - even if the one nation is one's
xenophobic own.
