Marty Cugelman & Gail Pasternack on wed 6 jan 99
Now that it is January, it is time to start planning what craft shows to do =
in
1999. I am an American that has lived in Canada for more than twenty years.=
I
participate in about ten craft shows a year and each year I like to try one =
new
show. This year I was thinking of trying one US show that would be a one =
day
drive (not more than 6-8hours drive) from the Toronto area. Does anyone =
have
any suggestions for a weekend show either July or August that would be
considered one of the better shows. I know it is hard to define what a good
show is because everyone has different expectations. Is there a book or
magazine or organization to call for some information?
Also, are there any Canadians that have done craft shows in the states this =
last
year? What were your experiences when crossing the border? Did you hire =
a
customs broker? What were your costs?
