never have experienced a mold buildup in my frig/damp box. obviously it has a
sort of musty smell when opened, but haven't noticed a mold problem. i would
suggest that a few drops of bleach in the pan of water used to add moisture
would stop the potential mold problem.

We have never had mold in a 'damp' cabinet. Probably because we use the
box as a means of evenly distributing the moisure in the clay and not for
long-term storage>. Don & Isao
