Hi,

I am a baby where firing is concerned. I just got myself a kiln Skutts
1018, with a sitter, and an Enviro- Vent this July and started my little
craft room where i teach pottery and ceramics painting.

I have so many questions regarding firing my kiln, and i feel it is too
much of baby stuff to ask here as most of you are pro.

I do need a 'mentor', someone, who might like to help me out, if i could
ask all these questions to. I hope someone out there will help me out.

I have read my manuals, and some books but i still need some help -
actually alot of help.

So please, if someone can spare the time to help me out a a few days, by
answering my questions, pls write to me directly, at ajanyk@pd.jaring.my.

I really appreciate any help i can get..

Thank you so much, Have a nice day....

Jan,

Don't assume that your questions are too elementary for the group. ALL of
us started off as beginners at one point, and sometimes we can learn from
answers to seemingly simple questions. So please ask your questions here,
and hopefully they'll be answered here.

You may also find that the archives provide useful information for you.

Jan,
I could do this, but also feel that asking and answering on the list is the
better way. You will be asking questions and receiving answers that are
helpful to many others. Think of this as a large classroom, with multiple
instructors. (all instructors may not agree all the time, but that is ok).
