You describe a condition that can be beneficiated with the application of
a refractory coating: specifically ITC100HT. Clean the heavy coal-build-up
and then apply ITC. FIRE TO 2000F. Any subsequent build-up can then be
easily removed; the slag will not stick. Hope this helps. NL
