Before you build a kiln how tall is your present kiln? Can you fire the
larger slabs vertical?

Well my Kiln is taller than it is wide, about 27" tall. The problem would
be how to stop the slabs from warping. How would I support them without
affecting my designs I paint on one side.

Have you managed to fire slabs upright?

Gaynor.
