We have been using John Post's Revision of Tom Buck's Cream Breaking Red
(^6-7 Ox) which John posted in May 97. He called it CBR-3, so we do too.
It is a really nice glaze - breaks rust over designs, edges, etc. He
recommended using it with Bob Kavanaugh's Berry Rust, which is also a very
nice glaze. Very rich deep red. We single fire. Here it is for those who
don't feel like searching the archives:
CBR-3

Frit 3134 30.6
Custer feldspar 26.6
Wollastonite 10.6
Talc 2.3
Strontium carbonate 3.3
EPK 8.4
Flint 18.2
___________
100
Add:
RIO 6.0
Tin oxide 13.0

Holly,
Would you mind posting the Berry Rust glaze? It sounds interesting. Thanks
