Hello goblet makers and raku artists;
Has anyone made goblet/chalices using the raku process? I once saw a photo of
a raku chalice with white crackle glaze. My question: will the wine seep
through the glaze? I have read that Thompson's water sealer will seal a raku
glaze, however this would not be appropriate for "food/wine." I have also
read that milk will seal a raku glaze but no details were given. Having spent
20 minutes searching the archives I now turn to the group. Thanks.
