jeff, etal. dug up this recipe, sounds like what you decribe. after all
the various responses to your post, dolomite wash etc.. it makes sense
that this would do it, it's essentially a tenmokku w/ some dolomite in it.
also, i've had lovely results using st. johns yellow over any
dark glaze-- can get runny-- beware.
