My thanks to everyone who has answered my query on green soap, apparently
correctly named ' Tincture of Green Soap';
It may still exist, available from pharmacists while something called
"mould soap" is available in ceramic supply houses.(I have not had an
opportunity to check these two). Dish soap of various types and WD-40 have
also been used to coat moulds.
Thanks to everyone who replied, in case I missed answering you personally.
