I have used this Gunmetal cone 6 glaze for a number of years. Unfortunately it
is an Albany Slip recipe and my precious supply is almost gone. I understand
that Alberta slip could be substituted for the Albany but haven't tried it.
There are 2 variations:
G borate 11.22%
Albany slip 88.78
add copper oxide 7.87%
or copper oxide 17.87%
After reading recent correspondence about copper oxide & food safety I don't
know if it would be safe for that purpose.
