Hello Clayarters,
One hour east of Lexington, KY.
I have 500-600 hardbrick that need a good home. $.65 per brick. They're
used but in excellent condition (nearly perfect), and have been cleaned.
They came from the abandoned coke kilns in western KY and if any of you
are familiar with these brick you already know that they are 33K's,
super dense and resistant to salt and ash. They're excellent for firebox
areas since they're so tough. The brick are also an odd (but nice) size,
3" x 4.5" x 9", which makes them easy to stack with, relative to the
American standard brick, being 2.5" instead of 3". So, with these you
get more brick for your buck.
I also have a small kiln that I'm thinking of giving to whoever wants to
dismantle it. Hard and softbrick. Softbrick not in very good shape
though.
