Don't know if the manganese can cause those headaches, others will know more
than I. But there are several other things that can. One of them is abrupt
withdrawal from some drugs. That can include certain blood pressure
medications and anti-depressants, just to name two. If the headaches continue
or come back so strongly, you should see a doctor. There are other things
that can cause those symptoms, some of them very serious. (e.i. stroke)
