to the list, hopfuly some can answer this question.
I use Orton Pyrometric Bars for my bisque kiln. But for the last three
firings the bars have broken in half. I mean Broken in half at about 1500f.
They just seem to fall apart. Even tryed a new box, and some one else
putting the cone in the kiln sitter. But the thing just falls in half at
1500f.
Is there something wrong with the cones?
Is there something wrong with the kiln sitter?
is there something wrong with the user?
