high temperature foil for wrapping ware in sawdust

I have read with interest the discussion about sawdust for creating
reducing atmospheres. As one person pointed out aluminum foil, while
readily available, only goes to about 1200 Deg F. There is a special
stainless steel foil that is used in the heat treating industry that goes
to 2000 Deg to 2200 Deg F. This might be of interest to some creative
potters. If so email me at and I will investigate if
there is enough interest.
