Hi Amy,
I've tested the following 6 glazes in Sumi von Dossow's article and also
had pretty good results:
Clear, Matt Yellow, Purple Icing, Speckled Blue-Gray, Phoenix II &
Midnight Blue.
I mix glazes for the Ceramics Dept. of an Art Association in Birmingham,
MI and the potters are always wanting to try new things, so have lots of
willing testers. We've added the Matt Yellow, Phoenix II & Midnight Blue
to our shelves; the others were too similar to some existing colors but
think the Purple Icing is an improvement on a blue we have, so will put
it out when the other runs out.
What did you think of the greens and the Black?
