Has anybody ever been to a throwing workshop with John Colbeck? What was
your experience of it. I know he wrote one of most referred to books on
throwing (still don't have it) but have never heard about workshops.

I don't think John has ever done a "public" throwing workshop, he is
much too self effacing for that. He was for many years the guiding light
of the Ceramics Dept. at Bath Spa University College, and I believe
still does the odd throwing module there. He is the best Teacher/tutor I
have ever met, and his devotion to his Students is legendary.
