ATTENTION ALL CLAYARTERS!
I have been in touch with many of you privately, but my computer
crashed finally and fatally, taking with it all your addresses and
posts. So now we start all over again.

Plans for the Exhibition to benefit Karen and Ann's Fire Fund have
finally been made. The show will be titled: "We Celebrate and Life and Work
of Karen Karnes and Ann Stannard, a potters exhibition to benefit the Fire
Fund" and has been scheduled for December 11 - January 6, 1999 at
The Clay Place in Pittsburgh.

This is an official call to all potters for donations for this
exhibition. All donated work will be for sale and proceeds donated
to the Fire Fund.

We are also asking for donations of Kiln Gods. There will be a
special area in the exhibition just for Kiln Gods. These will not
be for sale, but will be sent to Karen and Ann after the show.

Pots (and other ceramic work) should be sent beginning November 1st
to:

The Karnes/Stannard Exhibition
The Clay Place
5416 Walnut Street
Pittsburgh, PA 15232

Elvira Peake is the Director/Owner of the Gallery and she can be
reached at 412-682-3737.

Please make sure to indicate the price of the piece you are
donating. And also include one of your cards to be exhibited with
your donation.

Thanks for your support.

Malcolm,

Would you please make a point to remind us on this one about the first
of October? I want to send something, but I can't even BEGIN to think
about November right at the moment.
