Dear Deb, David Kuraoka is an artist, from Hawaii, known for his raku, who
has
been teaching at San Francisco State for many years. It's sad when the FLASH
is
over; but do we really serve ceramics and our audience by spraying and lining
pots with plastic? For me, pottery is the ALTERNATIVE to plastic. Give me a
pot
that will hold water anyday. For flash, well, there's always
electroplating....
