Would those of you who are using oxyprobes answer some questions?

Bailey AIC vs Axner Fireball - advantages vs disadvantages; price,
performance, durability, etc.

I bought the Axner probe in April. The atmosphere readings were fine but it
would only give sporadic temperature readings. I sent it back for them to
fix it. After about a month I called because I needed it to fire. They
hadn't looked at it yet so they sent a different one 'that was sitting
there' .I only get a temperature reading on this one from about 1300 F to
2000F on the way up--cool down is ok. The atmosphere readings seem fine.
I'm haven't sent it back because I need to fire and they won't send a
different one. I thought maybe they're all this touchy but another potter
I've talked to said the temp readings on theirs is fine all the way up.
Maybe my experience is a fluke-- I'll be interested to hear what you
learn.
