Hello fellow clayarters,
The Tacoma Art Museum in Tacoma, Washington is hosting a collection of
ceramics from Marina Picasso's collection. This particular collection is
on it's only trip outside of Spain. Tacoma is the only stop in the US.
The show runs until January 10. The third Thursday of each month is free.
otherwise the admission is $8.00, $6.00 for students and seniors.
There is an English translation of the catalog done for this show, from
the original Spanish, for sale. I will inquire as to the cost and mail
order proceedure. I have not seen the show yet, it just opened on
Saturday, but all the publicity looks very good. In addition there are
some drawings and print of Picasso's on the second floor gallery.
There were articles in Last Sunday's Tacoma News Tribune, and Today's
(Mon.) Seattle Post-Intelligencer for the web capable.
