With this discussion of books on tape and NPR in the studio, there's a service I
came across that offers recorded books and many radio shows, including Fresh Air
and To The Best Of Our Knowledge. It's at www.audible.com. You can download
programs and books at fairly reasonable cost and play them from the computer or
further download them to audible's player (which unfortunately isn't so
reasonably priced).
