CLAY ARTIST RESIDENCY AVAILABLE
Mudflat Studio is looking for a qualified clay artist for a one
year residency position beginning oct. or nov. 1st 1998 (asap).
this residency position includes use of a private 100 sq. ft.
space w/ 24 hr. availability, access to gas and elec. kilns, potters
wheel, slab roller, extruder, spray booth and glazes. Artists will be
required to give one/ two public presentations during their residency.
teaching opportunities are possible. there is no stipend, but
some materials may be included. this is not a live/work space- studio is
for work only. applicants should have knowledge of a variety of clay
techniques, have some kiln firing experience, and be able to work in the
studio a minimum of 20 hrs. per week.
