Does anyone know how I could contact Mexican or Central American potters
skilled in production wheel work?
We speak Spanish and have traveled extensively in Mexico, Central America and
Peru. I remember watching a potter in Mexico throwing 1000 bowls a day.( Of
course, he had someone bringing him clay and carrying off the bowls!) We are
looking for a production potter and it might be a good experience for someone
to come to Maine, even if only for a few months at a time. We could certainly
use their skills.
Is there a counterpart to Clayart in Spanish?
Does anyone know of pottery schools in Mexico or C.A.? There used to be one
in Tzintzunsan, Mexico.I am going to send the same question to Potters for
Peace.
