Both Vince's and Rick's postings about adjusting Shimpo wheels expand on my
original post about the "creeping pedal syndrome." The important thing is that
it is possible to solve this problem on the RK-2's and just because this might
be happening to your wheel does not mean that you have to take the wheel to
the trash. I have 12 Shimpo's in The Potters Shop some dating back over 30
years and they have been reliable (to say the least), hardworking and
virtually maintenance free. Yes, I have had to make an adjustment here and
there, change a few drive wheels and a bearing or two but I never had to trash
one!
