hello all,

perhaps selling work to make a living and pleasing clients are not always
the main objective. i believe we chose the direction we want our art to
take. if i want to make a living by means of clay, well then realistically
i probably would not be creating the things that i make. i am not willing
however, to sacrifice "what i want to make" for "what will sell".
so...yeah...i have another full-time job. it's worth it to me.

recently, having a feature article in CM and a piece accepted in a national
competition, i would be lying if i said i was not excited - after all,
don't we all want our work to be seen?

regards,
