WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITY
Ceramic Design Group and Colorado Mountain College/Alpine Campus will be
hosting nationally known raku artist, educator, and lecturer Steven
Branfman for a 5 day workshop beginning February 4, 1999 in Steamboat
Springs Colorado. This is a participatory workshop and students will
make,decorate
and fire objects under Branfman's guidance. A slide show, lecture and
exhibition are planned for mid week at the Steamboat Springs Art Depot.
Steven Branfman is the author of "Raku: A Practical Approach" . He operates
The Potter's Shop in Nedham Mass. providing ceramic classes and educational
opportunities in the area. The Potter's Shop is also a national mail order
resource for ceramic books and publications.

WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITY

Branfman for a 5 day workshop February 1-5 in Steamboat Springs Colorado.
This is a participatory workshop and students will make,decorate
and fire objects under Branfman's guidance. A slide show, lecture and
exhibition are planned for mid week at the Steamboat Springs Art Depot. The
cost of the workshop is $102.00. Lodging is available at LaLoba Ranch Clay
Center for $30.00 a nite. There are a limited number of scholarships
available.
