Hi Guys:
I'm doing my annual look over glaze recipes I've been collecting, and
found some strange ingredients I hope you help me find local (Canadian)
subs for:
Tennessee Ball Clay #7
Godfrey Feldspar
I got this off clayart some time back. Any comments would be greatly
appreciated
Peach Bloom (untested) 9-10 no atmosphere given
301.7 Godfrey Feldspar
41.2 Gerstley Borate
45 Whiting
Copper ox (.03%) 1.16
Tin oxide (1%) 3.87
I have no idea who posted this or what surface I might expect. Can
anyone help?
TIA!!

Hello Sam,
substitute for Godfrey Spar by the following proportion,
for 1% of it:
Custer Spar 0.570%
Silica 0.250%
Whiting 0.060%
Clay 0.120%
Total 1.000%
Ball clays in glazes can be substituted one for another,
it is not the same for clays.
