Hallo over there.
Isak from Sweden is calling about the web.
We are building a webnet in Sweden including handicraftspeople in Sweden.
Under the last 4 months we had over 800 `hits` on our site.I think that is
great!
As we are new and going to marketing the site from august > it`s only me,
on the site,
and i have sold a couple of pieces during this time but i had to `sell it`.
I was talking to a company (by tel) and as we spoked he could see my things
on the web and decided to bye. Another example: talking to a lady at an
artclub on a large company, and she could also see my things at the site. A
third example is a woman who knew about me, liked my glazes and ordered some
thecups with the glaze she found at my site.
-As untill today i have `to sell` my pieces on the net. But if our site some
day in the future become one of the more famous handicrafts-sites in Sweden
i think people will look it up, because it`s well known.
And if we potters, glassworkers and other people like us, are at the same
site, i`m sure that it`s more easy to find what you are looking for
comparing to searhcing the net for pottery, glazes or whatever.
So i think as we are moving in to the next millenium why not use the web.
Our webmaster charge: 160$ for one year at the site, including building a
homepage with 8 pictures, text, e.mail. In Sweden it`s cheap.
