My wife and I will be spending a week in Sedona, 11/8 through 11/14, and I
would appreciate referrals to any galleries or studio galleries specializing
in pottery or other clay arts in the area.

I'm also a home brewer, so any referral's to micro breweries or brew pubs in
the general northern Arizona area would also be appreciated.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi:

Tool up the Mtn on the west side of the Verde Valley to Jerome, Az. I think
the Highway that goes to Jerome is 89A. It's a real short trip from Sedona.
There is a Gallery there run by a guy who does pots and glass. His name is
Tracy Weisel and the gallery is called The Raku Gallery. Great guy and a
great space. I just sent him some new work and he has lots of other clay
artists. There's a guy just down the street who has his kiln out in the
side yard by the main road and you can go into the gallery and visit with
the potters etc. Jerome in general is an artists town and a great place to
visit. Good coffee shop there too. The Raku Gallery is at 250 Hull Ave.
and very easy to find.

I have to second the recommendation for Jerome. There are several nice shops
and galleries there. You will not be disappointed. There is something there
for just about everyone.

_Eat at the Flatiron Cafe!_

Nice views of the valley. Lots of little shops.

Eat (especially breakfast) at the Flatiron Cafe.

Bring your walking shoes. You may feel a little off balance on some of the
sidewalks.

Bruce "did I mention that you should eat at the Flatiron Cafe?" Girrell
