Is anyone out there working on a treadle wheel? I treated myself to
one of Doug Gates' beautiful ones, and now I need some supporting
structure off to the side? front? to hold clay to throw and work just
thrown. Has anybody got a satisfactory set-up to share?

I threw for years on a Leach Wheel, and found the answer was 2
adjustable & removable shelf brackets on which I put my ware boards, and
a stool on which I put a plastic 15 gallon bucket with the clay balls
in. That HAD to have a lid so that it didn't dry out when serving a
customer or answering the phone etc.
