WORKSHOP: TECHNIQUES OF FUNCTION with Bill Van Gilder

Join production potter Bill Van Gilder in this one-day demonstration workshop
which focuses on the techniques of making functional forms. Mr. Van Gilder
will demonstrate pulling handles, turning feet, making lids and spouts, and
will discuss how the proportions of these elements relate to function. Bill
Van Gilder is a professional potter whose work is nationally exhibited. Van
Gilder Pottery is located in Gapland, MD. Bill curated the Byron Temple
Exhibition at Columbia Art Center in 1995. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION:
