While Mel or whoever is answering the question about ventilation under the
kiln, can someone define what good ventilation is? My kiln is outside and I
lean old ceramic floor tiles around it to keep possible wind gusts from
blowing out the pilot. (It has happened). But being outside, how can it
help but have good ventilation? Lesley in CA.
ps, while we are talking about kilns, all comments on keeping an updraft
gas kiln firing evenly would be welcome!
