Hello, I think most of us could do worse than watch the film made of Isaac
Button, who was a potter in the North of England. Yorkshire,I think. It puts
everything in perspective.
No film of him making plates, though.
I know this video is available in the U.K., but U.K. tapes won't play properly
in American machines - maybe you could have it converted.
I encourage you to work in a production pottery for a while, if you can.
Nothing like it for honing the skills.
