DOUG GRAY, of Francis Marion University
in South Carolina, will be giving a demonstration/workshop
in the ceramics department of Paris Junior College, Paris,
Texas, on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31. There will be a
slide lecture/reception for the artist on Friday evening
October 30, at 7:00 p.m.
The workshop itself will run from 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
ON SATURDAY. Doug will be demonstrating how to
make large double-wall bowls, plus some carving and
decorating techniques, and whatever else may fit the
time frame.
There will be a pot-luck lunch provided by the students
here at the college, and coffee/tea/soft drinks will be
available during the day.
The workshop is free and open to the public, and any
clayart folks who want to attend are more than welcome.
If you'll email me off-list, I'll be glad to provide directions
and information. We plan to have a good time, so ya'll
come on up/out/down/over.
