In this department's move of Sculpture and Ceramics to anothe r
building I have discovered about forty bricks which are very strange.
They seem to be 9x4.5x2.5 inch blocks of compressed mica; you know
like vermiculite.

In thirty plus years of dealing with bricks and clay, I have never
seen such a thing. Do any of you know what they are? Temperature
range, etc?
