I'd like to thank all of you, especially Joe Bennion, for the responses
you sent in regarding the Tuscarora information request. Our guest has long
since gone home, but I have made copies of all your responses and sent them
to him. He'll be contacting his long lost teacher, Dennis Parks, directly.
Its been great fun to see the responses take on a life of their own.
Tuscarora sounds like such a great place, I'd like to take a class there
soon... glad Clayart helped me find it.

I'd like to also add to Eleanora Eden's thoughtful request for a glaze ID
as part of the formula's name by requesting that it also be posted under
subject (re:) at the top of a posting in the
To:
From:
Re:
section. On the days when there are more than 50 postings, (and I have five
gazillion other pressing things to do) I have to rein myself in and look for
the postings I need to read or respond to immediately. The rest I save for
a more self-indulgent time when I can read and digest all the postings. If
there is a formula or request for a glaze whose cone I am not currently
working in I'll wait, and look at the posting when I have more time. Having
the glaze's ^ID as part of the RE: in the posting is always something
for which I say an inward "thank you" when scrolling.


From Fran in Sedona, AZ where another warm front is on the way and I'm
looking forward to potting with doors open. Also envious as heck of Mel
& Kurt & families visiting with Mike at the Posada in Mata Ortiz, one of my
favorite pottery places.
