Hi, Lee,, thanks for responding to my deliemma.. The kiln is a Skutt
1227-240 28"x 27"... it weighs approx. 300 lbs, I'm told.. it does come in
sections..but a forklift would do the trick...it would have to be cushioned
in some manner to withstand the trip from Florida to North Carolina.. other
than this, I have no other info...I did find a freight company to ship, but
will not crate it.. Help!!!!! thanks,,, gracie

Gracie, I have seen skutt kilns on the floor, still in their crates, but =
opened,
at the pottery supply store in Tampa. Perhaps if you contact a pottery =
supply
store manager you could get one , along with some needed shipping advice. My
kiln move from Maine to Florida, (do it yourself style) was far from ideal, =
and
I learned how not to do it, the hard way.Lori in New Port Richey FL.
